Grant helping our children thrive

We wish to acknowledge a recent grant of $4,000 from the NSW Office of Sport which was used to pay for team cricket training for our players in our U13 and U15 teams from our CWSC&A Association and all of our girls teams from the Sixers Association.

This grant is instrumental in Marrickville Cricket Club being able to provide cricket training excellence at Norm O'Neill Cricket Centre at Penshurst. By establishing this as a yearly opportunity for players from U13 to U15, it means as they move into a more technical and challenging competition they have more skills behind them to achieve great results. U13 is the first level where when a child is out, they are out and this can be quite a shift for their thinking as players.

The Office of Sport has now granted this funding to the club twice and we can't thank them enough for helping our kids improve.
